What's this new RFI section all about?

In order to make finding and getting the products you want, we have developed a new Online Request For Information section that tracks the products that you request and prepares a document to send to API containing the specific information you want. The interface is simple, and integrates seamlessly with the current API web site structure.

How do I use it?

Using the new Online RFI consists of three easy steps.

Step 1: Selecting Items
Browse the API site as you normally would, locating the specific item or items that you are interested in. Next to the item description there will be an button that looks like this: . When you click that button, a new window will pop up displaying a table with the item you just selected.

Step 2: Editing Selections
By default, the quantity of each item is set to 1. If you wish to change this quantity, change the value in the Quantity box next to the appropriate item. If you would like to remove the item from the list completely, then enter a 0 (zero) into the box. When you are finished with your changes, click the "Update" button, and your changes will have been recorded. To leave the screen containing your items, click the "Close This Window" link at the bottom of the page, or the "X" symbol in the top right corner of your browser window. You will be returned to the page you were originally browsing.

Step 3: Send Request to API
When you have completed a list of items, click the "Send to API" button. You will be taken to a form requesting your contact information. Fill out this form and click "Submit Completed Form." You will receive a confirmation message announcing the successful delivery of your request.
