chassis for increased system reliability. The Model 3080 receiver
provides the user with manual gain control which allows the user to
tailor the module input and output levels to maintain consistent performance.
Available with 1310 nm Fabry-Perot (FP) optics, the Model 3079 transmitter
can be configured to meet almost any short range design need. Indicator
LEDs for Laser Status, RF Level, and Local/Remote Operation (Tx),
as well as an indicator for No Optical (or low optical) input (Rx)
allow the user to quickly assess the link’s operational status.
The 3RU version may be used with our SNMP compatible power supplies
for SNMP monitoring and control of the link. As part of the 3000 Series
L-Band and IF family, the Model 3079 provides the professional satellite
operator a high performance solution for satellite communications. |

VSAT
Fiber Optic Transceiver - Model 3040 |
The
Model 3040 VSAT Fiber Optic Transceiver provides an economical solution
for transporting 50 Ohm RF signals for numerous VSAT distribution
applications. The system utilizes a cost-effective coax cabling configuration
to distribute the RF signals from the dish to the transmitter and
from the receiver to the headend. The single-mode optical fiber between
the VSAT transceivers allow transmission distances to 12 km at 1310
nm. The unit has a manual gain control adjustment on the front panel
that allows the user to optimize the RF gain. Indicator LEDs allow
for a quick assessment of the link’s operational status. The
VSAT transceiver provides for bidirectional transmission of the entire
L-Band spectrum and transmission of a 5-10 MHz clock to synchronize
the user's block up converter in a simplified, flexible installation
environment at one of the lowest costs found in today’s market. |

NEMA Indoor/Outdoor Weatherproof Enclosure
- Model 3090 |
The
Model 3090 NEMA Indoor/Outdoor Weatherproof Enclosure allows the user
to mount up to two Force fiber optic links in a rugged fiberglass-reinforced
polyester enclosure for indoor and outdoor applications. The box includes
external mounting flanges that allow it to be wall-mounted or used
on a flat surface. The raised lid features a stainless steel continuous
hinge and stainless steel quick release latches with padlock hasps.
For cold weather environments, the enclosure contains a thermostat
controlled heater that turns on when the internal temperature drops
to 40°F (4°C) and turns off at 60°F (15°C). For hot
weather environments, the enclosure contains a thermostat controlled
high airflow, low noise fan that turns on when the internal temperature
rises to 120°F (69°C) and turns off at 90°F (32°C).
Neither the heater nor the fan use any of the internal surge-protected
110 Volts AC outlets, leaving them available for the user's equipment.
The Model 3090 offers a completely weatherproof mounting solution
for our fiber optic transport links. |
