5068 Battery Distribution Fuse Board (BDFB)

The 5068 BDFB reflects many years of working with installers and maintenance engineers, resulting in a family of distribution products that address the needs of initial and future cabling. These BDFBs provide a way to redistribute large power feeds (up to 500 Amps) to the load with multiple smaller, protected circuits. TPS fuses are available with ratings up to 70 Amps, TPL fuses with ratings up to 250 Amps, and circuit breakers are available with ratings up to 150 Amps. Isolated internal or external ground bars are used in each BDFB.

The BDFBs are configured to support either top or bottom cabling, allowing the BDFB to be placed on a raised floor. The optional 6425068CMPK can provide load capacity alarms. Each 5068 utilizes a fully welded cabinet with tie bars on each side for cable management.

  • Circuit breaker and fuse distribution - Plug-in and bolt-in circuit breakers or TPS type fuses
  • Available in three heights - 7'0", 9'0", & 11'6"
  • Top or bottom cabling - The BDFB may be wired from the top or bottom of the bay
  • Digital metering of all load centers
  • 600 Amp load shunts
5069 Battery Distribution Fuse Board

The 5069 is one of many distribution products engineered to allow for initial and future cabling requirements. The overall system is designed to allow easy connection to the individual bus bars, fuses or circuit breakers on each distribution panel.

Each frame can be equipped with up to 6 distribution panels for a maximum plant rating of 3000/3600 Amps total distribution. Fuses are available with ratings up to 250 Amps and circuit breakers are available in ratings up to 150 Amps. The 5069 is easily configured to provide A and B or A, B, C, D, E, and F distribution in a variety of configurations. The 5069 can be configured in the field from a 2 Load to a 4 or 6 load by installation personnel. Each BDFB has a fully welded cabinet with tie bars on each side for cable management, and is configured to facilitate top or bottom cabling.

  • Fuse and circuit breaker distribution – TPC, TPW, TPS and TPL type fuses; plug-in style breakers
  • Up to six load centers are available – 500/600 Amps maximum each, 3000/3600 Amps for entire BDFB (when 6 distributions are used)
  • Redundant alarming – Power is continuously provided to the alarm circuits until the last bus no longer has power available
  • Digital metering of all load centers

A & B Distribution Fuse Panel

6170021 A&B Distribution PanelThe 6170021P&W distribution fuse panels are designed to provide -48 VDC for two (2) separate fused distribution load centers.

The two (2) fused load distributions are designated as “A” distribution and “B” distribution. The 6170094P&W distribution fuse panel is the same as 6170021P&W except it has an added feature of two (2) capacitors.

The capacitors help maintain bus voltage during a load fault to keep your power plant from seeing bus voltage dips from a co-locator’s load fault. “B” distribution also provides ten (10) GMT type fuse distribution points. The 6170021P&W distribution fuse panel can be mounted in a 23” relay type rack. The fuse panel is six (6) inches in height and mounts in three (3) rack mounting units.

Features:
  • A & B Distribution
  • 5" Depth
  • Mounts in 3 Rack Units
  • Load Fault Hold-Up Capacitors (6170094 P&W)
  • Full 2 Year Warranty

200 And 480 Amp Co-Location Fuse Panel

6170085 Co-Location Fuse PanelThe 6170085P and 6170085W distribution fuse panels are designed to provide -48 VDC for two (2) 200 Amp separately fused distribution load points. The two (2) fused load distributions are designated as "A" distribution and "B" distribution.

The 6170095P and 6170095W distribution fuse panels are designed to provide -48 VDC for two (2) 480 Amp separately fused distribution load points. The distribution fuse panel can be mounted in a 23” relay type rack. The fuse panel is 14” inches in height and mounts in eight (8) rack mounting units.

Each load is equipped with (4) 23K MFD capacitors to help maintain the bus voltage during a load fault. This keeps your power plant from experiencing co-locator load faults.

Features:
  • A & B Distribution
  • 23" Rack Mount
  • Mounts in 8 Rack Units
  • Output Metering
  • Load Fault Capacitors
  • Ground Bar
  • Full 2 Year Warranty

Distribution Panels

Distribution PanelsThe AX-Series of distribution panels are available as standard list panels or as custom designed units that are designed and built to meet customer’s exact specifications. These panels provide just the right DC power distribution needed for a particular single feed or redundant feed application. Most panels operate at –48VDC, however other models are available.

Distribution options include alarmed circuit breakers or fuses (GMT, KLM, Type 70 and TPA fuses, or a combination of fuse types). Two alarm board options are available to meet a variety of requirements including visual, audible, and remote notification.

Most panels can be offset from the front of the system they are mounted, in order to align with existing equipment. Each panel is backed by a two-year warranty and same day advance replacement.

Features
  • Available with alarmed circuit breakers or fuses
  • Fuse panels can be equipped with GMT, KLM, Type-70, TPA, or a combination of fuses
  • Panels mount in 19" or 23" relay racks, or system cabinets
  • Every panel is put through an intense quality inspection and testing process
  • CSA certified & CE compliant
