Degating Fixtures

We offer a wide selection of degating fixtures. We have four standard models which can be custom tooled for most applications, or we can build a custom fixture to fit your specific requirements. We can provide degating fixtures for manual or robotic loading and unloading. All of our fixtures are made using top quality components and 1/4" anodized aluminum side plates. The Model DF300 is an economically priced fully pneumatic degater. It is offered in two different styles; slide chutes or flip cover. It utilizes quality nippers and blades in numerous styles and angles. It can simultaneously cut multiple gates with as little as 0.005 vestige. The Model DF600 is a PLC controlled machine with fourteen I/O for interfacing with auxiliary equipment. This degater is well suited for use with robots or controlling other features such as inspection. The Model DF800 Die Press Degating Fixture offers cutting configurations where conventional nippers won't meet the application. It can cut multiple gates more cost effectively then conventional nippers, while providing and efficient, accurate, and safe method of degating custom products. The Model DF850 Die Press Type Degating Fixture can be integrated with a robot for a fully automated degating system. This PLC controlled machine utilizes a shuttle to move the shot into the cut position. After degating, the parts fall into a bin while the sprue and runner is ejected from the back of the degater. It can be fitted with heated blades for cutting brittle materials without cracking.
