The
Model SLRT-72/120-12K is self-loading and open-yoke designed
with a GVWR of 15,500 lb and the capability of handling reels
120" OD x 72" wide weighing up to 12,000 lb. It
employs a manually operated hydraulic pump to position the
reels to a safe transporting height and has a unique pair
of automatic safety latches to remove the load from the lift
cylinders during transport. The double sided wheel end mounting
along with the fender/frame engineered concept allows for
better axle performance, as well as the ability to handle
those extra wide reels while remaining at the legal 102"
trailer width. The 3" diameter reel shaft is bronze bearing
mounted for ease of operation and fitted with a standard rim
type brake. Other features include electric trailer brakes,
manual front jack with steel caster, safety chains, Federal
FMVSS 108 lighting, and an adjustable pintle eye.
