The XS-100-B can be used in suspension
utilizing a high strength hot dipped galvanized socket connector
or used on crossarms. A 100% positive locking spring loaded head
pin assembly has a large loop for hot stick operation. Anti-friction
ball bearings in the sheave are lubricated for the life of the
block under normal conditions.
Neoprene and urethane linings are available, as well as a polished
groove aluminum, ductile iron, nylatron, and flat groove sheave
assembly.
Maximum working load is 2,500 lb, maximum conductor O.D. is 1.75”,
and weight is 9.25 lb.
XS-200-B
Two Sheave Stringing Block
The XS-200-B has two sheaves that
are the same as used in the XS-100- B. The block is for uplift
conditions and can be used either in suspension or on a crossarm.
The side gate positively locks with spring plunger.
Maximum working load is 2,500 lb and weight is 16.25 lb.

N3306Y "Noose"
The N3306Y “Noose” consists
of a 1” nylon safety orange webbing made integral with a
drop-forged steel ball eye fiting. It is designed to replace rope
type slings.
Ideal for use with the XS-100-B Universal Block on armless construction
and is also adaptable to other types of construction. The ball
eye will fit all S&R blocks equipped with a socket connector.
Maximum working load is 2,500 lb weight is 3/4 lb.

Suspension Bracket
The B-747 is a lightweight, high-strength
suspension bracket. The Y-ball clevis forms universal connection
for all blocks with socket connector fittings. The
fitting enables the block to be self-aligning on corners.
The bracket can be mounted at an angle with line of pull so that
the cable is held close to the pole. Quickly and easily attached
to the pole with a chain, its self-tightening angled groove eliminates
the need for bolts or tools. Weight is 10 lb.
97 Series for Overhead
Cables
The 97 series is extremely versatile for stringing
overhead cables. Frame and sheave are light weight aluminum alloy
and can be mounted directly to the pole or suspended from the
messenger. It can also be used with the B-747 pole mounting bracket.
Maximum working load in suspension is 5,000 lb, maximum O.D.
conductor is 4” and weight of block is 16 lb.
Model
4841 All Purpose Snatch Block
The Model 4841 all purpose snatch block has wide
groove sheaves for ropes up to 1.25” in diameter. The frame
is made of aluminum-magnesium alloy, fitted with a ductile iron
sheave and a forged steel safety hook. All ferrous parts, except
bearing surfaces, are hot dip galvanized. The all purpose snatch
block is the finest general purpose side opening block ever built.
The sheave has a complete 360 degree guard built into the frame.
Wide upper frame makes block self-aligning when used in other
than vertical position. This feature makes it ideal for lead off
or haul back applications.
This block is for all types of rope, including wire rope. Maximum
working load is 3 tons, maximum rope diameter is 1.25 in and weight
is 18.5 lb.
GTA-358 and HLB-472 Ground
To Air Blocks
The GTA-358 and the HLB-472 ground to air blocks
are ideal for handline purposes. Constructed of lightweight, high
strength aluminum alloy for maximum strength at minimum weight.
Because sheaves are mounted on ball bearing for minimum friction
and are recessed within the frame, these blocks are ideal for
use with synthetic ropes. The HLB-472 model is available in standard
or “open side.”
When ordering, specify fitting, swivel eye, safety hook and swivel
eye, or open hook and swivel eye. The GTA-358 maximum working
load is 2,000 lb, rope size is 3/8” - 5/8”, and weight
is 2 lb.
The HLB-472 maximum working load is 1,250 lb, rope size is 3/8”

High-Strength Pole Mount Bracket
The NBPB-1 is a high-strength pole
mounted bracket with 360 degrees of block articulation.
The universal connection can be used with all blocks with standard
socket connector fittings. The bracket enables the attached block
to be self-aligning on corners and angles.
This bracket can be mounted to the pole with either lag bolts
or chain. Weight is approximately 4 lb.
QBNB-65,
Muti-Sheave Quadrant Block
The Model No. QBNB-65, Muti-Sheave Quadrant Block
protects cable during installation. With a maximum pulling radius
of 40” and a maximum 3” o.d. cable diameter. The block
consists of six 5” o.d. x 4 ½ “ w., Nylatron
sheaves that increase durability with less weight, on sealed ball
bearings that allow the cable to make gradual 90° turns for
easy pulling with less stress, through manhole and handhole openings.
Three hinged aluminum retaining rollers on oil impregnated bronze
bushings with spring locking pins keep the cable contained within
the frame. The Block can be suspended or anchored for many cable
installation requirements. Anchors are positioned to allow for alignment
of each cable pull. Aluminum side plates with flared edges provide
lightweight and corro-sion resistant construction for extended life.
