| The 3HDS Fiber Optic Cable Rack is particularly useful when
racking small diameter cables such as fiber. The opening of this
rack is 3" in diameter and 3" in the depth of the cavity.
Using this cable rack eliminates the use of cable ties or fastening
devices which could cause attenuation of the fibers or signal
loss.
Each member is molded in one piece of U.L. Listed glass reinforced
nylon -- a tough unique combination of high strength, corrosion
resistant, fire retardant, structural resin that maintains its
strength, during sustained exposure to high temperatures and humidity.
Excellent dielectric properties -- no porcelain insulators are
required -- no grounding is necessary.
Will not rust -- is unaffected by electrolytic corrosion as found
in damp and wet locations. Practically eliminates periodic replacement
as occurs with steel racks in such locations.
Not affected by lubricating oils and greases, aliphatic and aromatic
hydrocarbons (including conventional fuels) or common esters,
ketones, ethers, and amides. On special order, can be molded from
other polymers resistant to specific highly corrosive industrial
