The CPE-03 is a full ETSI ADSL POTS Splitter designed to provide POTS
service in conjunction with an ADSL service. The CPE-03 prevents high frequency
ADSL signal from interfering with the POTS service. It also prevents the low
frequency POTS signal from interfering with ADSL service.
Connection to the ADSL modem and telephone equipment is straight forward. Two
types of connection options are supported on the splitter, a standard 6 pole terminal
block or 3 RJ-11 connectors. The terminal block and RJ-11 connectors are
connected in parallel as shown at the right, so either method can be used.
The CPE-03 can be installed using the existing wiring
enabling the service technician to get the ADSL service
turned up quickly. Residential users installing the splitter
using the RJ-11 jacks and existing cables can complete
the task with a high degree of certainty that the
connections are trouble free.
